Process Engineer

Location: Klang/Port Klang

Job Descriptions:

• To support the production team in Plant upgrading, modification, preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• To work hand in hand with the Head of the Department in implementing 5S, HACCP and safety in the department.
• To maintain and upkeep the plant as well as reduce breakdown and downtime in the plant.
• To lead the maintenance team and contractors to conduct projects in the plant
• To support the production team in giving training on a maintenance program
• To arrange duty and program for the maintenance supervisor for a preventive maintenance program
• To oversee safety in the plant and implement any new safety regulation
• To ensure that all production personnel follow the established food hygiene and safety programmes.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Food Science/Tech, Chemistry, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years (s) of working experience in the Food/Chemical/Oil & Fats or Oleo Chemical processing industry is required for this position.
• Analytical mind, strong leadership qualities, good interpersonal skills and an active team player
• Knowledge of food safety or food technology is added advantage.
• Able to work with other departments to achieve Company’s objectives and targets.
• Candidate must be willing to work in North Port, Selangor
