GL Accountant

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for subsidiary accounts for the location(s) assigned
• Ensuring correct accounting for all transactions booked in the location’s books
• Making and reversing accruals as required to reflect the operations of the company
• Preparation of applicable VAT, Tax and other statutory returns including annual accounts
• Analysis of accounts according to business requirements
• Account reconciliations in line with corporate guidelines
• Preparation of books in US and local GAAP
• Other ad-hoc requests as necessary

Job Requirements:

• Degree or other qualification in Accounting/Finance
• At least 3 years working experience with MNC or public listed company
• Interpersonal skills; communication, analytical skills, Microsoft Office, Accounting System experience (SAP/Oracle)
