Procurement Specialist (MNC Pharma)

Location: Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Take part in Procurement Process, Project Planning and implementation
• To execute the purchasing and supply management strategies
• Manage SOWs/RFI’s/Contracts documents
• Take part in supplier selection
• Manage day-to-day supply issues
• PR & PO processing
• Review and evaluate PR according to needs and specifications of the internal stakeholders and ensure completeness of supporting documents
• Monitor POs through the online PO system
• Approve Purchase Orders and
• Respond to internal and external customers inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations
• Organize, update and retain product information files and purchase order records
• Develop and assist in the development of Purchasing Policies
• Ensure alignment and compliance with Purchasing Policies
• Monitor and manage vendors/suppliers in the areas of cost savings, process improvements, sourcing of materials and innovation initiatives
• Conduct vendor/supplier performance reviews
• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Business Management, Finance, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• At least 3-4 years of experience in Procurement/ Sourcing and vendor management
• Applicants with MNC Pharma / Healthcare is the added advantage
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
• Strong people and problem-solving skills
• Independent, team player, and can work under pressure environment
