Field Service Technician

Location: Johor Bahru

Job Descriptions:

• Deliver on-site technical support and maintenance for barcode hardware (printers and scanners).
• Perform equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Assess customer requirements and provide appropriate technical recommendations.
• Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports and accurate quotations.
• Promote service contracts and provide after-sales technical assistance.
• Collect and report market intelligence on competitors’ products and legacy equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates a strong service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to customer support.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with effective communication abilities both written and verbal.
• Possession of own transport is required for travel to customer sites.

• Permanent Role
• Work over the weekends
