Senior Accounts Executive

Job Descriptions:

• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and manage internal controls to ensure SOX compliance.
• Oversee sales and corporate accounting functions, including monthly closings, financial reporting, journal entries, credit control, inventory, accounts payable, taxation, and audit processes.
• Participate in job rotations within the department based on capability and exposure to support employee growth.
• Continuously improve accounting systems, procedures, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, methods, and principles to ensure compliance and standardization.
• Enhance departmental efficiency while guiding, coaching, and supporting junior staff.
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Certificate in Accountancy (e.g., ACCA, CPA, etc.).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the sales or manufacturing industry.
• Background in audit is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and relevant laws/regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude, fast learner, with the ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is a strong advantage.
