Audit Senior

Location: Shah Alam

Job Descriptions:

• Deliver high-quality audit services and assigned projects.
• Perform audit procedures in compliance with the Firm’s policies, procedures, and International Standards on Auditing.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers in accordance with the Firm’s policies and International Standards on Auditing.
• Identify and escalate any issues that may impact the audit opinion to the Engagement Manager and Engagement Partner.
• Lead, manage, and delegate tasks to junior auditors.
• Supervise and review the work of audit assistants, ensuring proper documentation and sign-offs.
• Ensure financial statements comply with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and statutory requirements.
• Prepare consolidated accounts, audit reports, and management letters.
• Implement approved action plans to ensure timely completion of audit reports.
• Assist the Engagement Manager in preparing the Audit Planning Memorandum and Audit Review Memorandum.
• Collaborate with team members to execute the audit plan and meet deadlines.
• Work closely with clients, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships.

     Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or a relevant professional qualification. ACCA finalists with one to two papers outstanding are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant audit experience.
• Strong technical knowledge with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• A proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken in English.
