Stamping Assistant Manager (Metal Stamping/Manufacturing)

Location: Rawang, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• To provide technical support relating to tooling design (pressing, progressive stamping & progressive forming)
• Ability to comment on tooling design and understand customer requirements.
• Design low as well as high-volume stamping tooling based on customer specifications.
• Manage entire project activities, beginning from order receipt through the first production run.
• Liaise with the Stamping team to create new tooling designs and manufacturing prototypes as well as production tooling.
• Familiar with using AutoCAD to analyze and improve the existing tooling designs.
• To facilitate design tooling to be cost-effective as well as repeatedly develop quality components.
• Select appropriate materials and tooling for stamping processes.
• Develop and implement Stamping plans, schedules, and workflow processes to meet the targets and standards.
• Provide guidance to the Stamping team to ensure continuous stamping improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical or Mechanical).
• Good knowledge of all kinds of raw materials for piercing, bending, and forming. 
• At least 5 years and above of working experience in Stamping role in the Electrical components Manufacturing, specifically with industrial switch sockets will be an advantage. 
• Familiar with AutoCAD software in the preparation of tooling prints and designs.
