System Engineer (Developer)

Location: Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Descriptions:

• Participate in system analysis, design, development, programming, and project documentation preparation for Manufacturing Operations Management Solution Applications, as well as externally customized applications.
• Provide post-implementation support and system integration testing.
• Familiar with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Assist with project management, including obtaining business process and user requirements from prospects/customers, attending status meetings, updating project status, and engaging in pre-sales activities like system demos.
• Provide on-site system setup, user training, and early implementation assistance to customers.
• Maintained effective customer communication to guarantee timely project delivery.
• Manage inventory, support, and maintenance for all areas of the company’s IT infrastructure, including business applications, software, and security.
• Managed IT compliance for audits, including Internet Security Management.
• Provide product training and knowledge transfer for junior staff and newcomers.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Requires at least 6 years of related professional experience and the ability to act as a Technical Key Post between project owners, prospects, and development teams.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least three software development languages, including C++, C#, VB.NET, VB6, ASP.NET, PHP, and any database engine.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience with barcode systems, Windows Mobile, RS-232 communication systems, and Windows networking environments is advantageous.
• Candidates with ERP system experience are invited to apply.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills and programming ability.
• Effective communication abilities in both English and Bahasa.
• Knowing Mandarin or Cantonese would be advantageous.
• Experienced in configuring PC/Server peripherals and installing multi-OS platforms.
• Demonstrates self-motivation and ability to fulfil deadlines.
• Requires personal transportation and willingness to travel for local and outstation trips.
• Only for Malaysian.
