Accounts Assistant Manager

Location: Johor Bahru

Job Descriptions:

• Assisting the Finance Manager in overseeing, managing, and coordinating day-to-day finance related matters.
• Finance – Treasury, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, and Taxation to ensure smooth operation in Finance & Controlling department.
• Controlling – Costing, Inventory, Scrap, Fixed Assets, and related issues
• Accountable for the annual standard cost calculations process, including establishing, monitoring, and analyzing accurate standard costs.
• Prepare cost information for business with various assumptions provided by the R&D department to Product Marketing for pricing decisions.
• Ensure that the process flow & procedures adhere to the Group & Company’s policy and its effectiveness by reviewing, implementing, and controlling them.
• Review bills of materials and routing, and collaborate with relevant departments to gather necessary input for cost estimation.
• Accountable for inventory & scrap-related reporting and analysis.
• Create and maintain SAP product costing and analyze SAP cost variances.
• Collaborate with the R&D department to increase product profitability and prepare & analyze products’ profitability.
• In charge of coordinating and participating in the annual stocktaking & monthly cycle counts with analysis & reconciliations of variances.
• Deal with internal & external auditors and staff at all levels.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced Diploma / Degree in Accounting ACCA or CIMA
• Minimum 2 year of related working experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience in SAP or any other ERP system
• Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
