Financial Analyst

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

  • Responsible for the financial management of the company and provide financial reports and analysis to the Management
  • Prepare and provide weekly and monthly turnover figures to support the sales team in their achievements
  • Organise and manage the preparation of annual budget in co-ordination with the requirements of Management
  • Monitor the company’s budget and highlight items of significant deviation to the Management for immediate rectification or review
  • Review and monitor COGS & inventory levels through close liaison with Supply Chain
  • Perform checks on delivery orders daily to ensure data accuracy
  • Perform checks on invoice submissions to bank for trade financing
  • Prepare monthly commissions payable on turnover of specific products for approval and payment
  • Prepare invoices to customers, debit notes & credit notes for intercompany transactions, payment vouchers and bank reconciliation in accordance with company laws and regulations.
  • Post accounting transactions and ensure all documents are updated in the system on a timely basis
  • Prepare Financial Management reports on a monthly basis for Management review
  • Liaise with company’s auditor, tax consultant, and company secretary as & when needed
  • Support and assist CFO in day-to-day financial operations and any other ad hoc assignments and tasks as and when necessary

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must at least have Advanced/Higher/Post Graduate Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree /Professional Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years related working experience in related field
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to multitask and willing to work hard in a fast-paced, high growth work environment
  • Able to handle and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Able to collaborate and work as a team player with strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Preferably can start immediately.
  • Required skills: AutoCount software, Microsoft Excel and Word.
