Technical Manager -Swine & Poultry

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Job Descriptions:

• The role involves supporting the implementation of swine and poultry strategies through close collaboration with the Business Segment Head and regional business unit swine and poultry Technical Manager.
• Providing technical support is a key responsibility, as offering assistance to colleagues and important customers within the local business
• Assisting the country’s technical team in managing and resolving escalated technical issues is another important aspect of the role.
• Collaboration with the local business Business Segment Head to support the product launch process is essential.
• Delivering comprehensive technical training and consultation on assigned product(s) and disease area(s) to country colleagues, distributors, and key customers is crucial.
• Taking initiative in initiating, coordinating, and following up on field trials within the country is an important duty.
• Acting as a point of contact for the country with the regional business unit swine and poultry Technical Manager, attending meetings and congresses, and facilitating the exchange of technical information regarding the assigned products completes the scope of responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, or related field.
• Relevant experience in the poultry and swine industry, preferably in technical roles or animal health
• Knowledge of industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices in poultry and swine production.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Understanding of the commercial aspects of the poultry and swine industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and competition.
