Business Controller

  • Salary RM4,000 - RM5,000

Location: Kelana Jaya

Job Descriptions:

a) Responsible for the financial management of the company and providing financial reports and analysis to the Management

  • Prepare and provide weekly and monthly turnover figures to support the sales team on their achievements
  • Organise and manage the preparation of the annual budget in co-ordination with the requirements of Management
  • Monitor the company’s budget and highlight items of significant deviation to the Management for immediate rectification or review
  • Review and monitor COGS & inventory levels through close liaison with Supply Chain
  • Perform checks on delivery orders daily to ensure data accuracy
  • Perform checks on invoice submission to the bank for trade financing
  • Prepare monthly commissions payable on turnover of specific products for approval and payment

b) Update and prepare the monthly financial management reports for the company and its group of companies in respect of the company’s financial performance

  • Prepare invoices to customers, debit notes & credit notes for intercompany transactions, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliation in accordance with company laws and regulations.
  • Post accounting transactions and ensure all documents are updated in the system on a timely basis
  • Prepare Financial Management reports on a monthly basis for Management review
  • Liaise with the company’s auditor, tax consultant, and company secretary as & when needed

c) Support and assist CFO in day-to-day financial operations and any other ad hoc assignments and tasks as and when necessary

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must at least have Advanced/Higher/Post Graduate Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree /Professional Degree in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related working experience in a related field
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to multitask and willing to work hard in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment
  • Able to handle and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Able to collaborate and work as a team player with strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Preferably can start immediately.
  • Required skills: AutoCount software, Microsoft Excel and Word.
