QC Lab Technician (Chemical) x 5

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

It is a vital position in determining the quality of every production manufactured in the plant/ Incoming Material that come into plant. The role requires discipline in maintaining the outmost integrity in evaluating the result of the production batches/ Supplier batches objectively through the standard test as required in the product.

• To perform quality control tests for incoming raw materials or finished good products according to quality requirements and methods.
• To immediate feedback to the superior on any abnormal quality issue for action.
• To work with supervisor, co-workers and technical to solve product quality issues.
• To perform an investigation on customer complaints, rejection and returned goods caused by raw materials or finished goods products.
• Ensure work area and job compliance with quality requirements, safety rules and company policies.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing plant preferably in the paint industry and QC function.
• Minimum diploma certification or similar certification is preferred
• Knowledge in paint or chemicals.
• Incumbents must be willing to work shift working hour ( 1st shift: 8am-4pm ; 2nd shift :3pm-11pm )
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and make decision on solving non-conformance products.
• The incumbent should possess some knowledge or skill in paint making, paint technology or chemical and have previously worked in a manufacturing plant in production or quality control.
