Tax Audit Specialist

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Support in compiling audit schedules, financial statements, and accompanying documents for tax audits;
• Examine tax records, transactions, and documentation meticulously to detect potential discrepancies and issues;
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect pertinent information and resolve audit inquiries;
• Effectively communicate with external auditors to streamline the audit process and promptly address audit queries;
• Analyze audit discoveries and contribute to the formulation of strategies to rectify identified deficiencies or concerns;
• Organize and maintain updated audit files and documentation for adherence to audit standards;
• Aid in crafting audit reports, presentations, and other materials for management and regulatory entities;
• Stay abreast of current tax laws, regulations, and audit procedures for compliance, providing guidance to internal teams as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field;
• Experience in tax audit support, accounting, or related field;
• Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and audit procedures;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software;
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• CPA or relevant certification preferred
