Site HSE Supervisor (Yellow Book)

Location: Bintulu, Sarawak

Job Descriptions:

• HSE Monitoring: Oversee and monitor construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and best practices.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments for construction and commissioning activities, identifying potential hazards and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• HSE Training: Provide HSE training sessions for all site personnel, ensuring a thorough understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Permit-to-Work Coordination: Manage and coordinate the permit-to-work system, ensuring that all required permits are obtained and adhered to before any work is undertaken.
• Compliance Inspections: Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to HSE standards, identifying non-compliance and recommending corrective actions.
• Incident Reporting & Investigation: Respond to safety incidents, conduct investigations, and compile reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of training, incident reports, safety inspections, and permit-to-work documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, conducting drills and ensuring all site personnel are familiar with emergency procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Yellow Book.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a safety role within pipping construction or Oil&Gas environments.
• Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Strong understanding of workplace safety laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., OHS, WHS).
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for training, reporting, and liaising with various stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly assess situations, identify risks, and implement practical solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for identifying hazards and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
