Senior Software Engineer

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• To research, create, and deploy an internal company application (web-based) to aid in the digitization of internal company procedures, as well as to prepare documentation and user manuals to assist new employees in adjusting to the system.
• Monitor and produce standard applications (also known as packaged applications) for the SA and sales team to demonstrate and propose to customers. Manage all documentation with development teammates.
• Support any issues and requests for internal and standard applications prior to the formation of the software support team.
• Handle simple application development and implementation for customized customer applications when the customer has an urgent need that cannot be handled by the customized team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma, professional degree, computer science/information technology, or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• A candidate with at least 6 years of experience and good software development knowledge may be considered for a higher senior post package.
• Experience with data collection systems, auto-ID systems, or RFID software development will be an extra plus (optional).
• Strong experience of Visual Studio.NET development (VB.NET or C#), as well as strong object-oriented programming development skills.
• Experience in web application and programming languages like ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and MVC.Net Framework RestAPI capabilities, with a strong grounding in front-end UI frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery).
• Intermediate experience of Android development (Android Studio) utilizing Java or Kotlin will be an extra benefit (optional).
• Must have solid knowledge of SQL database management (MSSQL or MySQL).
• Time management skill
