Senior Quarry Manager

Location: Pahang

Job Descriptions:

• Lead the mining production team, establish KPIs, and provide strategic direction to ensure operational excellence and efficiency.
• Develop and implement resource allocation, manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and technical training plans to enhance productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, safety regulations, and environmental standards while optimizing mining operations to minimize downtime and costs.
• Align mining activities with client requirements, ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee and improve operational systems, cost management strategies, and risk assessments to drive performance and meet company objectives.
• Build and lead a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling activities, ensuring smooth execution and timely reporting on production metrics, costs, and operational challenges.
• Liaise with clients to provide updates on site operations and address any concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Geology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least 10 years in mining or quarrying, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Licenses & Certifications (Preferred):
  • Drilling License
  • Crushing & Screening License
  • Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Certification
  • Environmental Management Certification
  • Fire Shot License
