Senior Purchaser Executive (Cosmetics & Perfume)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for procuring products from suppliers, negotiating contracts, and obtaining the best pricing and terms.
• Monitoring stock levels, tracking product movement, assist in stock planning.
• Reordering items as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Assist in sourcing new suppliers when required.
• To create various merchandising, sales, and stock-related reports for each outlet by extracting important data such as purchase records, sales records, stock holdings, stock aging, and selling prices.
• Consolidate all related reports to generate Group-level reports for management, operations team, and other stakeholders to analyze and make decisions.
• Consistently update and review purchasing, sales, costing, retail pricing, and sales promotion data in reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• To modify vendor and product listings.
• Prepare and generate any ad-hoc reports necessary by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in any field.
• Minimum 2 year experience in retail purchasing.
