Senior Network Engineer (Post Sales – CCIE)

Location: Klang, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Conduct installation, troubleshooting, and technical documentation preparation for projects and support issues.
• Show solid knowledge of switching and routing technologies.
• Take ownership of any technical action items during meetings and presentations, and collaborate with suppliers to address any related problems.
• Conduct user acceptability testing after doing on-site proof of concept exercises.

Job Requirements:

• A candidate with a technical diploma or university degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working with clients to implement and maintain routing and switching systems.
• Effective time management skills, including handling pressure and operating under tight deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• A team member with superior analytical abilities and a positive approach at work.

Required Skills

• Advanced hands-on technical expertise in Cisco routing, switching, and software-defined networking systems.
• Strong technical writing abilities and knowledge of client infrastructure performance and security concerns.
• A solid grasp of technical issues and recognizing dangers before project implementation.
• Capable of picking up new networking and security technologies quickly.

Certifications Required

• CCIE certification in routing and switching, enterprise infrastructure, data centres, or service providers from Cisco.
• An advantageous to have additional professional certifications, such as CISSP, F5 Certified Administrator, etc.
