Senior Accounts Executive (RM7000-RM8000)

Location: Kuala Lumpur Sentral, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

  • Ensure monthly closing deadlines are met, prepare the balance sheet schedules & journals.
  • Assist and ensure the profit margin for all sales categories is correct.
  • Prepare journal for provision, accruals and charge out before month-end closing of management reporting.
  • To process month-end closing tasks.
  • Support in any compliance audits and respond to audit queries.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, bank reports, and various analysis reports for relevant parties.
  • Tabulate variance analysis relating to actual versus forecast results for business units and management tracking and decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly presentations for management meetings.
  • Assist in cash flow monitoring and payment processes.
  • Bi-monthly submission of SST to Kastam.
  • Liaise and attend to questions from the billing and sales department.
  • To prepare monthly audit and tax schedules.
  • Attend information requests from tax agents and auditors for statutory legislative requirements.
  • Assist in yearly audit exercise and prepare financial statements and corporate tax submissions.
  • Preparing cash flow projections and relevant reports for management review.
  • Prepare and present consolidated financial statements to the group.

Admin / HR role

  • Work with HR case management tool to handle employee queries/requests
  • Facilitate employee probation review and contract renewal and dismissals process
  • Manage employee time records and filing
  • Provide work administration-related monthly payroll data
  • Administrate employee personnel file
  • Support employee personal government-related documents application/renewal

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Diploma/Degree in accounting or equivalent accounting qualifications i.e. part ACCA, or graduate in accounting related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and with knowledge of any accounting system.
  • Preferably with a least 5-6 years of working experience
  • We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
  • Meticulous with figures, accurate, knows how to handle stress and shows initiative.
