Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding)
Job Overview
- Salary RM6,000 - RM 12,000
Location: Shah Alam, Selangor
Job Descriptions:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international freight forwarding markets.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct market research to understand client requirements, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
- Coordinate with operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
- Track sales performance, prepare regular reports, and analyze performance metrics.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, including air, sea, and land transportation.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Goal-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
