Safety Officer (EHS)

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Maintain, coordinate, and communicate EHS processes and procedures at the site level.
• Ensure compliance and implementation with OSHA regulations and standard operating procedures
• Ensure and Implement safety and health (S&H) activities in the workplace
• Conduct site audit when required.
• Identity risks and conduct accident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of accidents.
• Review, analyze, develop, and communicate EHS programs and solution initiatives, and develop action plans as needed
• Organize and lead safety and health activities, meeting, and training for all employees to ensure compliance with all standard requirements.
• Initiate and complete safety incident reports, root cause and corrective actions (RCCAs), and fulfill reporting requirements.
• Conduct Job Hazard Analysis / Risk assessment, ESD testing and keeping record.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Safety & Health or any relevant field.
• Registered and certified Safety and Health Officer with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
• Experience in ISO45001 and ISO14001 are added advantage.
• At leasts 1-2 years of working experience in Safety & Health.
• Able to work in an environment with noise level exceeding 85db for a prolonged period.
• Good time management, communication skills, attention to detail, and meticulousness.
• Ability to work independently, positive attitude, and a good team player.
• Good command in English and Malay.
