Retail Data Analyst (Fresh Entry)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang

Job Descriptions:

• Compiling merchandising, sales, and inventory reports for company products from the outlets, by extracting pertinent data including purchasing records, sales figures, inventory levels, aging, and retail prices.
• To compile all merchandising, sales, and inventory reports from each outlet to generate comprehensive reports at the Group level, operational teams, and other stakeholders in their periodic analysis and decision-making processes.
• Ensuring consistent incorporation of relevant data pertaining to purchases, sales, costs, retail pricing, and sales promotions into the reports, and meticulously verifying the data to maintain integrity and reliability.
• Managing and updating vendor and product listings when necessary.
• Generating ad-hoc reports as requested by superiors as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement Management or any equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in this field for this position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Candidate who is familiar with Merchandising System (IMS) or Navision will be an added advantage.
