Quality Assurance Engineer (Manufacturing/Plastic Injection)

Location: Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru

Job Descriptions:

• Plan, implement, and supervise the inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with internal departments to establish, negotiate, and define quality procedures, standards, systems, and specifications.
• Lead the team in troubleshooting and resolving daily production quality issues.
• Investigate and analyze customer complaints to ensure resolution in alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Develop and document detailed, comprehensive quality performance reports and assessments.
• Establish and maintain inspection plans, procedures, quality guidelines, and quality control activities.
• Provide training, technical guidance, and quality interpretation to the quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes.
• Oversee, manage, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and/or TS 16949 Quality Management System

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in any relevant discipline.
• Preferably certified in Six Sigma, SPC, Quality Engineering, Quality Auditing, or similar credentials.
• Familiar with quality assurance concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and decision-making skills.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office, quality assurance software, and database systems.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a quality-related position.
• Experience in plastic injection manufacturing is an added advantage
