Process and Product Design Engineer (Electronics)

Location: Johor Bahru, Johor

Job Descriptions:

• Lead and manage projects related to process and product design from conception through implementation.
• To design, and create product and part drawings for new product, product improvement, and cost reduction projects.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for electronic products to improve efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including flow charts, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• To liaise with suppliers on technical discussions including prototype design parts, and delivery schedules.
• Train production staff on new processes, equipment, and quality standards.
• To provide technical support to production on parts specification and measurement.
• To ensure the enforcement and control of 5s, Safety and environment protection.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or any related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge in solenoid and relay will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Labview and Solidworks is an added advantage.
