Job Descriptions:
- Support the Sales team in achieving and exceeding annual revenue targets for Inorganic and Material Characterization products. Boost sales growth in the replacement market while identifying new business opportunities in industries such as agriculture, solar, chemicals, and environmental applications.
- Deliver solution-focused demonstrations in competitive scenarios, providing application notes and technical insights to strengthen market positioning. Collaborate with the sales team to showcase product capabilities, ensuring alignment with customer needs and applications.
- Offer application support, including product testing, training, and sample analysis, providing customers with data-driven insights. Work closely with sales professionals to facilitate order closures through continuous engagement.
- Ensure smooth product implementation by maintaining involvement with customers, sales, and service teams throughout new installations. Diagnose issues, assist in resolving start-up challenges, and conduct structured customer training sessions as needed.
- Provide expert technical guidance, method development, and process optimization to address customer application requirements. Serve as the primary technical contact for troubleshooting instruments related to Inorganic and Material Characterization.
- Deliver product and application training to new customers and conduct refresher courses to enhance understanding of product functions and capabilities, fostering long-term customer engagement and sales sustainability. Train sales and service teams on application needs and contribute to the development of sales tools to support business growth.
- Develop new application notes for industries such as energy, palm oil, and food safety. Conduct solution-driven demonstrations to maintain a strong presence in the Inorganic and Material Characterization market segment.
- Support the Sales team in marketing initiatives, including seminars, workshops, and exhibitions, by facilitating presentations and strengthening customer relationships to expand the client base.
- Assist the service team with both internal and external technical troubleshooting. Perform additional tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Must hold at least a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience working with analytical or spectroscopy products.
- Hands-on expertise in operating analytical instruments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for research data interpretation and solution development.
- A sales-oriented mindset with a customer-focused approach and a willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, particularly with sales and service teams.
- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
