IT Business Analyst / IT Specialist

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

Project & User Management

1. Serve as the main point of contact to coordinate between users and vendors for troubleshooting and ensuring timely project completion.
2. Manage IT projects from start to finish, including system requirement analysis, design, testing, training, documentation, and implementation of change requests or new systems into production.
3. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes by setting up new email/user accounts and computer systems, assigning proper access rights.
4. Plan, implement, monitor, and enhance security measures for company users.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies related to network hardware/software, user support, security, and data backup.

IT Support

1. Provide 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software/application issues, offering recommendations to improve operational efficiency and meet business needs.
2. Ensure timely deployment of IT security patches and firmware updates for network devices, servers, and other systems.
3. Establish a monitoring mechanism to track the health of servers and network devices.
4. Manage outsourced vendors to ensure services comply with SLAs for infrastructure and end-user support, reviewing and ensuring issue logs are resolved.
5. Perform regular system maintenance, including software updates and patches.

Others

1. Assist in IT asset management, including inventory tracking and maintaining an up-to-date asset list.
2. Conduct IT training sessions for end users.
3. Handle ad hoc IT tasks as assigned by the manager.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT, with experience in full project lifecycle management preferred.
• Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in administering and supporting SAP Business One, M365, SharePoint, Power Apps/Automation, and Power BI.
• Proficient in programming standards, database management (Microsoft SQL), server, and network management.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must possess own transport for commuting to work.
