Installation Testing and Commissioning (ITC) Engineer

Location: Shah Alam, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee and execute the installation of railway systems following design specifications and industry standards.
• Work with the design team to address any discrepancies or challenges encountered during installation.
• Perform system-level tests in line with industry standards and project specifications.
• Identify, rectify, and document system faults and defects.
• Coordinate and carry out commissioning activities for new or upgraded railway systems.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are documented and approved by relevant stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain detailed plans for installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth installation, testing, and commissioning processes.
• Attend project meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
• Diagnose system malfunctions and collaborate with maintenance and design teams to resolve issues.
• Provide technical support during the operational phase if required.
• Ensure all installation, testing, and commissioning activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.

Mentor and train junior engineers or technicians on installation procedures and best practices.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Railway Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience in railway systems installation, testing, and commissioning, preferably 5+ years.
• Strong understanding of railway systems, installation procedures, and safety standards.

Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for installation and testing.
