GL Accountant

Location: Subang, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Month end reporting including accrual accounting and accounting for prepayments.
• Preparation of general ledger reconciliations.
• Journal preparation.
• Accounting for fixed assets including IFRS 16.
• Accounting for inventory.
• Liaising with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general accounting team.
• Provision of accounting advice to other business divisions.
• Audit and Tax queries.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Job Requirements:

• Muat have a Degree in Finance/Accounting with an Accounting Certification (MIA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) and more than 5 years of experience in a large corporate environment.
• You are comfortable working with MS Excel and Power BI with the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• You are customer focused, with excellent attention to detail and committed to strict levels of confidentiality.
• You can prioritise your work to meet key deliverables and are a team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
