Location: TTDI, Kuala Lumpur
Job Descriptions:
The position will play a key role in financial planning and analysis operations within the Shared Service Center, supporting the Singapore and Indonesia regions. This position involves compiling and analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Analyze complex financial data to gain insights and assess the company’s performance, including revenues, profit margins, expenses, and capital expenditures.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s internal control framework to maintain a secure and compliant financial environment.
- Work collaboratively with different departments to collect financial data, standardize reporting criteria, and align understanding of key financial metrics across the organization.
- Conduct variance analysis of financial results and provide actionable insights to support management in decision-making.
- Assist in creating accurate and visually clear presentation materials for board meetings and investor communications.
- Ensure all financial reports comply with company policies, statutory requirements, and regulatory changes.
- Take part in special projects requiring financial analysis and demonstrate initiative by handling additional responsibilities.
- Review and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, preparing clear and concise reports to support monthly and quarterly financial close processes.
- Develop ad-hoc reports and work on projects such as financial data analysis, process optimization, and policy updates to improve the efficiency of the general ledger department.
- Prepare financial disclosures in compliance with US GAAP and local regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors and consultants.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or relevant Professional Qualification (ACCA / CPA / CIMA / MIA / ICAEW)
- At least 2-3 years’ relevant experience in accounting function
- Good understanding of accounting principles, standards, financial statements, and reports
- Able to work effectively as a member in multi-functional teams
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental interaction.
- Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel (PIVOT Tables and VLOOKUP), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in English with good communication and writing skills.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and presentation materials for executive and investor audiences.
