Job Descriptions:

What you have to do:

  • Responsible for overall accounting , financial and treasury functions Responsible for timely preparation of management accounts and financial reports, group consolidated accounts , performance analysis and report variance to facilitate management decision making
  • Preparation of monthly /quarterly and annual consolidation financial and management reports .
  • Preparation and co-ordination of cashflow forecast , annual budget and monthly profit & loss forecast
  • Handling and oversee banking and treasury matters with particular on cash flow management , managing financing requirements and foreign exchange exposure management.
  • Reviewing of monthly balance sheet  and  profit & loss / tax schedule and company tax /deferred tax computations
  • Ability to prepare audited accounts of company and group audited accounts Ability to monitor and realisation of project costing and cashflow forecast Monitoring & handling insurance and taxation matters
  • Formulate , implement and monitor the Accounting & Treasury Policies & procedures of the Finance Department in compliance with Group Policies , Procedures and Accounting Standard
  • Liaise with bankers , tax agent/tax consultant , auditors, company secretary and relevant government authorities
  • Any ah-hoc assignment as and when required that management assign from time to time  Hands-on in computerised accounting systems and Excel Worksheets

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a similar degree
  • Preferable more than 7 to 10 years of experience in related field
  • Registered as a Member of the MIA/CPA will be added advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact at all levels
  • Ability to work independently & multi-task
  •  Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment – possess a keen sense of business urgency
  • Sets high personal performance standards
  • Strong organizational and people skills
  •  Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to all levels of management
  • Strong management and time management skills
  • Understanding of financial concepts and tax
