Field Service Engineer (Siemens PLC)

Location: Gelang Patah

Job Descriptions:

• Lead on-site technical and operational support for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of highly complex equipment and systems.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Siemens equipment, including automation systems, drives, PLCs, and related technologies.
• Provide technical support and training to customers, ensuring they fully understand the operation and maintenance of their equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve system issues promptly, minimizing downtime and supporting customer production processes.
• Work closely with sales and support teams, to deliver complete and tailored solutions for customers.
• Document service activities thoroughly, including detailed reports, and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
• Ensure all field service operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Enhance technical expertise by attending training and staying informed on Siemens’ product updates and industry trends.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field in Electrical/Electronic engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in field service role, preferably working with Siemens products or similar industrial systems.
• Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• In-depth knowledge of Siemens automation systems, including PLCs (S7), drives, and HMI technology.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities, with practical experience in electrical systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
