Electrical Engineer (Palm Oil)
Job Overview
- Salary RM3,500- RM4,000
Location: Masai, Johor Bahru
Job Descriptions:
- Plan, organize, and implement a comprehensive program, including both preventive and corrective measures, to ensure the smooth operation of all electrical installations.
- Conduct inspections, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades on related equipment.
- Lead and manage a team of Wiremen, Technicians, and Chargemen to provide efficient and reliable support services for all plant machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Plan and oversee electrical breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and schedule regular monthly or annual maintenance.
- Perform monthly inspections, monitoring, and maintenance of HT and LV switchboards, bus ducts, transformers, switchgear, and TNB supply.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and testing of standby systems.
- Execute in-house electrical maintenance, inspections, and testing as assigned by the Manager.
- Design and develop automation and control system programming involving PLC, touch screens, and SCADA.
- Coordinate project work internally within the department and externally with other departments to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Supervise and manage project site activities to ensure timely completion within the allocated budget.
- Develop project schedules in accordance with requirements, deadlines, and milestones, establish tracking mechanisms for field progress, and update schedules regularly.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of working experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, preferably in the palm oil or similar industries.
- Experience in PLC/SCADA
