Design Engineer (Escalator/Elevator/AutoCad)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Gain In-Depth Design Knowledge: Understand building design structures and specifications, particularly related to elevators and escalators.
• Overseas Training Opportunity: Stand a chance to travel to Australia for 1–2 months of training, upon successful completion of a 4-month training program and work performance requirements. This also provides a chance to meet and collaborate with the regional team.
• Collaborative Design Role: As the sole design engineer in Malaysia, you will work closely with several experienced design engineers in Australia via Microsoft Teams.
• Regional Stakeholder Management: Manage key stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand.
• Project Involvement: Handle new installation and modernization projects related to elevators and escalators, including replacement.
• Complex Building Design: Focus on designing solutions for mid-rise to high-rise mixed development projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.).
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in design engineering in manufacturing or engineering services.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work efficiently with a 3-hour time difference between Malaysia and teams in Australia and New Zealand.
