Business Development Manager (IT Security)
- Salary RM12,000-RM15,000
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Job Descriptions:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively source and connect with potential clients through cold calls, networking, and other outreach methods to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Sales Planning & Execution: Design and implement effective sales strategies to meet or surpass revenue goals, including conducting market analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
- Client Engagement & Account Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, overseeing the full sales cycle and delivering consistent post-sale support.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Generate and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and KPIs to evaluate performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Market & Risk Awareness: Keep informed on emerging security threats, market developments, and industry trends to stay ahead and mitigate potential risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and other departments to align sales efforts with broader business goals.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the IT security or SOC (Security Operations Centre) domain.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threat intelligence, SOC operations, and managed security services
- Skilled in market analysis and identifying new business opportunities.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
