Accounts Manager – Financial and Cost Accounting (RM8k-RM12k)

Location: Meru, Klang

Job Descriptions:

• Provide guidance and support to the Business Development Team in improving the costing performance, efficiency and effectiveness and ensure factory specific costing strategies are successfully implemented
• Take ownership of costing process across functions
• Direct costing on tooling development, improving design to cost competency and accurate cost estimation
• Provide support and Information to production creation teams so they have the information they need to manage against margin goals
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce/eliminate rework and error in management of information, and improve systems to drive end-to-end costing function productivity
• To be spearheading the cost down activities with a target of 2% annually compared to prior year costs.
• Own the billing process. To ensure that all deliveries are billed and on timely basis.
• To ensure that the billings are based on the latest prices as agreed between the Business Development Division and the customers.
• To ensure that the Debit Notes and Credit Notes on new pricings changes are produced within the month of the approval.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting system
• Any other duties and targets that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in accountancy, Auditing background is an added advantage
• at least 5 years’ of experience in Manufacturing at Accountant Level
• SQL accounting system knowledge is added advantage
