GL Accountant
Petaling Jaya
*Salary RM 6000 - RM 8000*

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent and a Qualified Accountant
  • At least 5 years experience in auditing or accounting.
  • Experience in SAP an advantage
  • Good knowledge in statutory and tax reporting.
  • Sound knowledge of Local Accounting Standard (Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Italy) US GAAP, SOX, GST/VAT and corporate taxation
  • Language Skill in Mandarin, Korean, Japanese or Italian is an added advantage.
Responsibilities:

  • Maintains general ledger and subsidiary ledgers,
  • Manage month end closing procedures completely, accurately and in timely manner,
  • Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements for reporting,
  • Prepare tax returns and related reports and tax filings,
  • Ensure timely completion & submission of GST/VAT reports,
  • Ensures compliance of accounting policies and internal control procedures,
  • Liaises with external auditors and tax agent on audit and taxation matters,
